Driver/Building Material Coordinator
The Driver/Building Material Coordinator is responsible for providing safe, efficient deliveries and exceptional customer service to customers and job sites. This role ensures building materials are accurately built, loaded, secured, delivered, and returned while maintaining safety and operational excellence. When not actively delivering, the Driver/Building Material Coordinator supports yard operations, inventory control, and material organization.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities-
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per company insurance standards.

Able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

Skilled at providing prompt, friendly, and attentive customer service.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to accurately read and write order numbers, product codes, SKUs, and delivery paperwork.

Basic math skills including fractions and lumber measurements; ability to read a tape measure.

Ability to safely load, unload, and secure building materials.

Proficient or willing to learn dispatch, delivery, GPS, and inventory software.

Willing to learn all areas of the yard and facilities and assist with cross-training others.

Proven reliability with a continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance.

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to follow DOT, CDOT, and company safety regulations.
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, reach, bend, and twist to perform job duties.

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials up to 97.5 pounds repeatedly using proper lifting techniques.

Ability to handle awkward and oversized materials independently and with assistance.

Ability to work on uneven or slippery surfaces and in all weather conditions.

Ability to climb on and off delivery trucks, forklifts, ladders, and elevated platforms safely.
