Meet Our Leadership Team

Moore Lumber & Hardware has proudly served Colorado communities since 1947 — and it all starts with the people at the helm. Family-owned and operated, Moore is led by Bill Moore and Erin Moore, whose commitment to honesty, service, and local relationships has shaped the company’s trusted reputation for nearly eight decades. Behind every delivery, every helpful hand, and every piece of lumber is a leadership team driven by values — and built for the future.

Bill Moore - Owner

Bill Moore

President & 2nd Generation Owner

As the second generation to lead Moore Lumber & Hardware, Bill Moore brings a rare combination of tradition and innovation. Raised in the lumber yards of Bailey, Bill learned the ropes from a young age — stacking boards, assisting customers, and absorbing the values that his grandfather and father built the business on: honesty, grit, and exceptional service.

After earning a degree in Business Management, Bill returned home to grow the family legacy. Under his leadership, Moore Lumber has expanded across Colorado, embraced digital tools like MoorePros.com, and remained fiercely loyal to contractors, builders, and everyday DIYers.

Outside the office, Bill is an active member of the community, a mentor to young tradespeople, and a firm believer that service is the best product any company can offer. When he’s not walking a jobsite or speaking at a local chamber event, you’ll find him with his family enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors.

Erin Moore - Owner

Erin Moore

Erin Moore serves as the Vice President of Moore Lumber & Hardware, bringing a wealth of experience from both the family business and the broader building materials industry. After attending college, Erin initially joined Moore Lumber & Hardware, contributing to its operations until 2002.

From 2002 to 2008, he gained valuable industry insights working with BlueLinx, a leading distributor of building products. He then further honed his expertise at Universal Forest Products (UFP) from 2008 to 2013 in Thornton, CA, where he developed strategic leadership skills.

In 2013, Erin returned to Moore Lumber & Hardware as third generation leadership, to help spearhead its growth and expansion, blending his industry knowledge with a passion for the family business. Erin and his wife, Melissa, are proud parents of three children and the happy owners of a family dog. His dedication to family, both at home and in business, continues to drive his commitment to Moore Lumber & Hardware’s success.
