Builders & Beer

Episode 4 – Columbine Roofing & Exteriors

On Episode 4 of Builders & Beer, host Mark Blickenstaff, the General Manager of Moore Lumber and Hardware is joined by another Castle Rock, Colorado business, Chris Lowe from Columbine Roofing and Exteriors. Mark was excited to have Columbine Roofing and Exteriors for so many reasons but the short details are they are local, female-run and family-owned business – checking boxes we love to see in the building industry!

The majority of the episode is spent discussing different aspects of the roofing process, as that is a majority of the business Chris sees. Columbine Roofing and Exteriors offer a free estimate for your roof, and recommend you do inspections after storms as well as 5-7 years after a new roof. The guys discuss the process of getting a new roof in details, including inspection/estimate, approval from homeowners insurance and/or HOA, work/timelines, and final inspection. Chris prides Columbine Roofing on providing a great product as well as great customer service by meeting the customer’s communication needs. They also discuss gutters, as they are just as important as the roof on your home and have many factors that need to be considered with the Colorado climate.

A final plug Chris discusses for Columbine Roofing and Exteriors is that they will upgrade the class of your shingle if you as the customer are a member of the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement, and/or First Responders. It’s their way of contributing to taking care of community they love!

Thank you to Iron Mule Brewery for hosting and providing great beer. Cheers builders!
