Pay Range: $15.50 – $19.50 per hour

The Seasonal Greenhouse Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by assisting customers with plant selection, care recommendations, and greenhouse products to ensure their success. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy plant inventory, creating visually appealing displays, and supporting daily greenhouse operations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of plants, gardening, and greenhouse operations preferred (experience strongly desired).
• Ability to provide plant care guidance, including watering, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly, and attentive customer service.
• Ability to operate basic equipment such as POS systems, watering systems, and greenhouse tools.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willing to learn all areas of the greenhouse and assist with cross-training.
• Proven track record of being a team player.
• Ability to maintain plant health and identify potential issues.
• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.
• Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Aptitude for industry technology and software.

Physical Requirements

The minimum physical requirements for this position include:

• Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
• Move and handle merchandise and plant materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on ladders or step stools and navigate greenhouse environments safely.
